Do you ever feel that you don’t fit in, like you’ve tried but you’re still not sure what to say or how to act? Do you feel like you’re misunderstood, or that people sometimes view you differently? Do you feel like you’re not fully heard, no matter how many times you repeat what you’re trying to say?
Oddballs unite! I’m here to help you make sense of the world. You, with your weird sense of humor and your fun personality, are always welcome in my office.
With a master’s in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health, I also specialize in play therapy and counseling for children and teens. If you have a child who is struggling, I can help.
I offer a free space to talk, with unconditional positive regard for all my clients. That means I’m on your side from our very first conversation. I use a variety of skills such as ACT and DBT, but feel that treatment plans need to be just as unique as my clients.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, family matters, or just plain struggling, I’m here to help!
A little bit about me:
I’m married with two little boys, both in elementary school. I play the piano and accordion, and have been fixing old accordions for some time now. I currently own four accordions of my own and have a fifth I’m fixing up. I also love making tiny DIY dollhouses, cooking for my family, and cleaning the house. (I don’t actually love cleaning the house, I just added that onto the end because it’s what takes up most of my spare time.)
